"Mother" Danzig
So I spent an hour trying to figure out the name of this song, after hearing it in a bar last night. However, I was confusing "mother" with "woman," so it took me longer than usual. DUH, it's "Mother" by Danzig! This song effin' rocks, and it makes you rock when you hear it. That's it. The song and video are self-explanatory: amazing black rock danceness.
How you'll move: Angry-faced head banging; foot tapping; hand drumming.
When to play it: When you're in a good mood; local air guitar contest; late nite house party (if there's room to head bang).
Side note: This video is nuts!
I like your blog but that song is awful. It's probably different for you because you didn't live through it when it was popular. But if you like Danzig, check out The Misfits, Glenn's first band, who were just awesome. Last Caress is a monster.

i know about the misfits, ok, justin! LOL wikipedia told me when i was on my danzig internet search... i mean, i guess i can see how someone could hate this song, but it really moved me at the moment i heard it.

I think you can do better than Mixed Tape. It doesn't say what you're doing here, which is not just recommending music but saying WHEN the song works. How about "When you're feelin' it" or "Tunes and When" Or maybe "Liz and the Recommendations"
